About Us
With its corporate headquarters in Taiwan, from manufacturing a few Polyester and Epoxy surfboards a few years ago, ASA Surfboard now is specializing in Epoxy surfboards, S.U.P Paddle boards, race boards, plus many other important accessories.ASA began testing various board construction types and shapes in the Poyang Lake in Jiujiang. After determining which boards would work best in lakes and rivers as well as oceans, ASA distributed their prototype boards to friends and associates for further testing and feedback from inland lakes and rivers around the world. This initial valuable feedback resulted in the development of the first generation ASA line of stand up paddle boards and also began the process of spreading and popularizing stand up paddling in key recreational lakes and rivers throughout the whole China in 2010.
Our hope is that we do more than that. We aim to build boards that leave you lusting for your next session, a brand that you can identify with, and a family you desire to become a member of. We'll never be perfect, but we promise to continue to learn, grow, and evolve.
